New Wolf Map Just Dropped

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) just released the first map of wolf locations from their reintroduction to January 22. All Colorado wolves were fitted with radio collars before they were released, sending GPS data to CPW every four hours. That data was then used to create this map, which CPW hopes will “help inform the public, recreationists and livestock producers on where wolves have been in the past month.”

Check out the map here, along with CPW’s other wolf reintroduction resources! We can expect the maps to be updated monthly, reflecting data for the prior month.
